GEOFIX is a service connecting the recent technologies like Internet, global system for mobile (GSM), electronic cartography and global positioning system (GPS).

By means of the GEOFIX service, a user can in real time continuously monitor a location of the mobile object equipped by BlackStar device as well as supervise and control external equipment attached to the device.

The GEOFIX service can be used in Russia and out of the country, by corporate or private users, in different applications, for example:

• for cargo delivery monitoring,
• in security and safeguard systems,
• for holiday and travel,
• in car alarm and anti-theft devices,
• in transport dispatching services.

For registered users of GEOFIX web-server, the following sections implementing the object monitor and control features are accessible:

• The "Tracking" section permits to display on the map the mobile object position.
• By means of "SMS" section it is possible to send a request or command to the object and to browse the received answers and acknowledgments.
• The "Details" section is intended for such user parameters entry and editing as client details, object requisites, SMS and E-Mail notification configuration.
• The user account balance, service consumption statistics as well as payment possibilities can be found in the "Account" section.
