Expedition-Trophy 2005. MURMANSK - VLADIVOSTOK.

"Expedition-Trophy" Race is the annual international intercontinental car race. The race consists of several laps and includes off-road technical elements, orienteering and additional tasks. In 2005 the race will start on February 23 and finish on March 8, on the route MURMANSK - VLADIVOSTOK. The prize fund of "Expedition-Trophy" race is 15 kg of pure gold. 72 off-road cars will take part in this race. The electronic maps on the Internet will be used for monitoring all these 72 Off-road cars in the real time. C-Map Russia will support this monitoring during the race. GPRS mode has been implemented into web service "GEOFIX" and product "BlackStar". Now it is possible to display the object on the map as fast as you want. For example, the speed one position/second is posiible. This mode GPRS was tested in Italy and Russia.
